The Future of Film
We had the privilege of working with the team at Film Sunshine Coast to develop a dynamic new brand identity and website for the peak film body in the region. This ongoing project has us devoted to building the future of film production in Queensland. As the Sunshine Coast continues to grow as a hub for movie production and filmmaking, Film Sunshine Coast aims to provide essential infrastructure to support and represent the industry, attract funding, and foster further growth. This project marks a new chapter in the Sunshine Coast film industry, following the success of the Sunny Coast Showdown, an incubator founded by Powderfinger Drummer Jon Coghill. Over the past three years, the incubator has produced over 15 short films, some of which have had global acclaim, giving the local filmmaking community the momentum it needed to thrive. Film Sunshine Coast will now build on that foundation, attracting global interest in movie making on the Sunshine Coast.
The brand identity and minimal website we created for Film Sunshine Coast are designed to be user-friendly for Hollywood producers and filmmakers looking to use Queensland as a filming location. The website features an extensive location directory, links to local production partners, and essential resources for location permits and government departments. The site will in future feature cast and crew directories bringing the entire industry together. With a united front the region stands set to shine on the big stage. With this new brand, we aim to help filmmakers easily navigate the process of film production in one of Australia’s most picturesque regions.
As we continue to focus on being a Producer of short films, we are excited to showcase our ability to create impactful brands for the film industry.
